boules

After another big day of wood chopping, lunch in Faugeres (so much for the non eat week) and siesta I wandered off round the village today as the sun was starting to lower in the sky.

In the boules park a game was in progress and the blokes very sweetly included me in their conversation and were happy for me to take some photos. Serious stuff mind you with great discussions going on, head scratching and a measuring tool brought out at one point.
This fellow not only had his two boules but a cloth and a gadget with a magnet at one end with which to pick them up. No leaning or bending over...very sensible.
