Airshow 2012

Went out to the desert to watch the airshow today. It was interesting as we were bussed into the airforce base which you wouldn't normally have access to. I'd got my camera back and it was a good way to test whether the fault was not fixed, which it was (just dirt on the sensor). Clicked away, not just the planes but the people as well. Still finding the Arab culture very interesting and loved all the different designs on the Abayas and different headdresses on the men. The young men were strutting their stuff. As a result my battery went flat and spare was in the car so grabbed Mr's camera and carried on. He was just rejoicing at getting his camera back which was very short lived! My favourite saying is what's mine is mine and what's yours is also mine!

The show ended with a lovely fireworks display which we watched while queuing up to get on the bus to return to the car park. It was pretty chilly today and we weren't exactly dressed for cold weather. Anyway another great experience in Bahrain.
