Meet DUCK, the most treasured and loved of companions.

He was given to Alix when she was born so he's nearly 19 years old but is too precious/frail/poorly to cope with living in university halls. Instead, he stays home and looks after things until she returns.

He spent the first 5 or so years of his life tucked under her arm, resting in the crook of her elbow and as a result he's a little short on stuffing around his middle. He finds sitting unaided a bit of a chore nowadays but is more than comfy in the corner of the big bear chair.

He's a little too delicate to go through the wash now. Once he was white and plump and fluffy but that was before he was loved!
