Singing in the Rain

Well, I am not singing, but if you want to see one of the most fun things to see involving fake rain, click on to see the amazing Gene Kelly do his thing. For anyone who doesn't know, that sweet young thing at the beginning of the clip is Debbie Reynolds, who was only 19 when she did this movie. She is mom to Carrie Fisher. And if you are too young to know who Carrie Fisher is, then our conversation is done! Highly recommend everyone to rent this movie because not only is it a classic, there is some really funny stuff in it. Back in the 1950's the studio would put every young starlet in movies matched up with their leading men who were often 20-30 years older than the ladies. Gene Kelly was 20 years older than Debbie Reynolds.

Not a day to go out and about with a camera unless it's waterproof, which mine is not. It's a day to stay inside and keep dry.
