Last Light of the Day

I was wondering what to photograph today when I came downstairs and saw the sunlight streaming through this vase on the table. Rushed back upstairs to grab the wee camera and not a moment too soon - the first photo I took turned out to be the best one as the sun was disappearing behind the buildings.

Normally it would bother me to have blown-out highlights, dust and lens-flare in a photo but I think it helps create an atmosphere in this one.
