Before and after

Several months ago my flatmate flew to China for three weeks. Prior to leaving, she left a note next to her plant requesting it to be watered. I obliged.

When she came back it was very obvious that I took too much care of the plant and discovered that you don't actually need to water it daily.

Ever since then I always felt bad, it was never my intention to kill the plant. Through sheer guilt I bought her a new one exactly the same, only it was alive. She still intends on bringing the other one back to life, but no luck.
