Pipe dream

Arch! It had all been going so well... New bathroom has been getting put in since Monday. I'd hoped to have a 'finished bathroom' blip for today, but it turns out the tiles we chose are harder to cut than normal tiles. Anyway, this means a delay if a few days.

Today the floor tiles were laid. Without the underfloor heating we'd ordered. It would appear that the quote we got from the supply people which had the underfloor system on it, and which wad them sent to the plumber to apply their trade discount, then lost the underfloor element, and we neglected to check the contents of the two quotes matched exactly. Arse.

The bathroom looks great. And the expense and time of ripping up the floor to start again would just be a bit too much. So. Cold floor remains. At least we went for the more powerful and larger towel rail...

Cheap dinner tonight in the Honours. Wouldn't usually be but it was courtesy of Mel's work for our wedding in October. Damned good it was too.

Now. Bed for me. Have a 7am ride planned. Ta ra.
