Boys in the undergrowth

The hilarity starts here...

Thanks to everyone for the support from all the channels, from semaphore to carrier pigeon. It's been gladly received. The boys were at school this morning and Mary in Boston and I chatted for an outrageous 1.5 hours!

I contacted the cardiologist today to set plans in place. There really is no need to prolong the agony and in doing so will only cause further damage to Reuben's heart. I await the surgeon to contact me for the consultation. He himself was one of Reuben's original surgeons on his first open heart surgery in August 2007, documented here (this is not for the faint hearted).

And when the boys returned from school, they were greeted too by our friend Jenn. Later, we stepped out to our favourite gorgeous meadow of flowing winter blooms (aka, the empty lot 2 miles from the airport cunningly disguised as a gorgeous meadow of flowering winter blooms) and shot these.

Jenn's still here. Fancy a glass of wine and a good movie? Me too...
