Miss Giraffe

Orana Park with Seb and his Gran today. Super fun!

A couple of months ago this girl bit her tongue and so she has been kept separate from the others whilst receiving treatment. At the time, it looked awful. Today however she looked much better, no gash in her tongue and much happier to be fed by visitors.

Tina and Seb fed her together but sadly I didn't get a decent enough photo of it to put up here.

The giraffe has the same number of vertebrae in its neck that most other mammals have (seven). I thought that was really interesting :)
