Yagan

Meet Yagan, a 49 years old guy from Aleppo (Syria) who runs a grocery shop in Magdeburg. He is an important person for all Pakistanis, Indians, Turkish, Arabic etc. people. His shop sells native food items from many countries. You can find Halal meat items, breads, Indian spices, Arabic sweets, Tea, Tobacco etc. In short everything that you won't find in big supermarkets.
Yagan moved to Germany in 1989 and has worked in many cities here before starting business in Magdeburg 4 years ago. He buys shop products from a big dealer in Berlin. He visits Berlin everyday since his family also lives there. Though Yagan is not very impressed by the city of Magdeburg, but he is still very happy as his business is earning him enough profit to continue. Why Magdeburg? Because there are many foreigners living here and few such shops.

This blip was quite accidental. I had invited friends to dinner at my place, and when I went to Yagan's shop for buying food items, I thought of blipping him. Requested him for photography, he was ready with his trademark smile. Few questions afterwards gave me enough material to fill the blip.

P.S. I couldn't get enough bread for the dinner so had to make rice :-(
