Mallard Drake Portrait

Isn't he benign looking? Mallards alway look as if they're smiling in profile; yet I remember watching a drake pulling a worm out of the ground while the hen looked on. I'd always thought they're veggies.

I had a lovely evening yesterday. We had supper at an Italian restaurant and went to a concert with The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen afterwards. Perfect :D
