Wild n' Windy

I was determined to get out with the camera today, so despite weather warnings headed to the beach. I only lasted 30 minutes I think...but what a glorious few minutes!

It was so cold, And so windy, And the raindrops were like stones. And the sand was dancing along the shore, lifted high. As the clouds raced, the sun shone for moments, and the light was lovely. The spray from the waves seemed to be throwing itself into the wind as it crested.

I managed to get about 80 shots with the tripod before my double-fingerless-gloved hands admitted defeat, and I retreated to the car and my flask of peppermint tea (prepared for once).

It did feel good though...alive
