We went out to Garvald for a walk up the hill this afternoon, after such a lovely morning.

Sadly the weather had had enough of being nice, with a couple of squally showers, and biting wind, especially on the way back down.

So we had to call into the Garvald Inn, where we sat by the fire, Euphemia had soup, which Euphling shared, and I had a lovely pint of real ale.

This is one of my favourite pubs, and Peter is a great chef; if only he was in town I would move in!
