Welcome home...

I've spent much of today either sleeping or tidying up.
This is how my ceiling currently looks - an 18 inch split through which water had been pouring during the day yesterday. It was a lovely sight to walk in on after a tiring week.
Water damage was, thankfully, limited to a cardboard box whose bottom fell out when I moved it. Otherwise, just some water to clean up but a lot of stuff to move in order to do that.
Luckily I have a good neighbour who dealt with the issue in her flat as soon as she got home. Need to investigate the problem further, then there's getting the ceiling fixed.

I'm presently trying to replace my kitchen. This extra work is not in the plans.

Stupid watery bugger.
