Taking a rest ...

Just for a few moments .. I guess I was lucky to find him resting on a perch reserved for the birds ... but the birds were nowhere to be seen.

Shortly after this blip, he took off, back into the water - who knows where to.

Not a very big pond, and rather shallow, I guess he will know his way around.
