Into the wild
Went with Mrs RT, Dave, Kathy, Linda, Jane, and Janet up Meall Tairneachan (787m). If you don't know it but you know Perthshire, it's northwest of Aberfeldy, south of Loch Tummel and east of Schiehallion. If you don't know Perthshire, it's in the middle of Scotland.
As far as this, we were sheltered by trees; as we went on up it got more exposed and the wind was very wild. Walking poles were essential just to stay upright at times. Near the top the ground was icy in places and we had alternating sun and horizontal snow showers.
So it wasn't easy but it was fun!
