Room with a View

Our Friday night ended up here in this little room with this street view and live Bossa Nova in the corner. Very pleasant! We were actually on our way out, having spent the earlier part of the night in the same place, but right through the back, on the huge terrace right on the Amazon. We were in good company as we spotted Michael Palin when we arrived and then later on saw him being filmed. He saw that I'd clocked him. Not too difficult as there aren't many tourists in Belem!
