Jupiter

What a crap night. Sky looked clear so packed up the car and headed to Harperrig, where the sky was totally clouded over and the wind was terrible. Abandoned there and went to Harlaw where the cloud caught us up. Gave up and went home where the wind wasn't too bad and there were loads of sodding stars. Still a lot of cloud so stuck on the 70-200 and 2x teleconverter and had a go for Jupiter instead. Now, I know it looks unremarkable in this 100% crop but what is there is that you can make out an actual shape, it looked even better through the viewfinder.

Going to buy a telescope soon and start from proper astrophotography.
