Just following orders?

We recently replaced our spare double bed with a sofa-bed so that we could turn our office-cum-guest room into a playroom for the kids. As well as being a hideous (but practical) dark brown, it's not all that comfortable to sit back on either so today my husband went into town to get some cheap cushions.

Apart from asking him to make sure they had the same brown in but also another colour to brighten things up a bit, I left it up to him to choose them - thinking he'd come home with four the same. So much for trusting him to use his initiative!
