No point in putting a shilling in the meter. The wires are there but they are not connected to the power source. Result - nae power!

A mirror of aspects of life perhaps? All the right bits are there, with all the right wires and the right framework..........but if not connected at all, or properly, to life's power sources then it is only the illusion of life or life not lived to the full? Ahh, perhaps too philosophical for a Saturday evening.
