Getting my finger out

We've had smoke alarms for longer than we can remember. And a good thing too, because it was a smoke alarm that let us know workman had set fire to out house a few years back.

So when Lancashire Fire Service offered free smoke alarms, this was an opportunity to get another on to add to those we have.

In other news, an interesting 6 mile run this morning: 3 miles into the teeth of the wind, and blown back.

And an equally interesting match at AFC Fylde where an own goal, a dubious penalty and a freak 40 yeard goal meant a three nil win that keeps Fylde at the top of the table.

If this wind keeps up then tomorrow's 15 mile run could be a challenge
