Turbine

I've often wondered just what those wind turbines look like up close.

Today whilst returning from lunch in Ellon, as you near Methlick there's one in a field just next to the road. I dont think we were supposed to be able to get so close, but we did.

Here's the picture to prove it, they're enormous and it made the noise I expected it too.

The curiosity has bugged me for some time.
