Flood and Mud

What a day.....and what a day to be watching rugby!
There was a call to arms this morning to try and ease the waterlogged condition of the pitches so "I" and "E" did a bit of community service and were dispatched to the the club to help spike and fork the pitches to ease the water content. 2 hours they returned like frozen muddy twiglets! Well done boys a job well done! You should have seen it before!
The game went ahead and Lenzie rose to the occasion and won against Wigtonshire alot to nothing! At the end of the game there was the traditional tunnel and the ball boys were honoured by being asked to walk the tunnel too. You can just see "D's" clean jacket as he passes through, though I dont think it remained that way for long!
Boys off to Grandmas and Grampas tonight as "D" and I are off out to celebrate the bards birthday. Lets hope we get a wee spell of drier weather now and the ground gets a break from all this rain!
