From little acorns...

In any cirque umstance.

The Royal Albert Hall is a very impressive building, but not nearly as impressive as the displays of talent showcased inside.

I was treated to a matinee showing of Cirque du Soleil's Totem and was blown away by the skills of the performers, breathtaking, amazing stunts, stunning costumes and a set so cleverly designed it doesn't bear thinking about.

However as I sat all bewildered and dumbstruck it occured to me that the talents on display were not required in my day to day routine. I can't see a point in my life where it will be necessary to be sat upon a 10 foot tall unicycle and flick metal bowls with my foot and catch them on my head.

If that day ever does come, I'll be sure to blip it
