Kelvingrove
Since its a beautiful day in Glasgow and the house smells like a brewery thanks to Mr H (in the bad books for disturbing my beauty sleep), Freya, Bruce and I headed out to Kelvingrove Park for fresh air.
What fun we had! So much so I didn't take many decent photos. Anyway luckly the car was parked near Kelvingrove art galleries (picture). I thought the colour of the sandstone against the blue sky was gorgeous.
We're so luckly to live near such beautiful architecture. And do you know the story behind the building of the art galleries?
Well, it's a bit of a morbid story to be honest (and maybe not true) but apparently the building was built back-to-front, and designer jumped to his death from one of the towers when he realised his mistake.
Poor guy! If only he knew that billions of people from across the world have visited the galleries.
So, this is the back I have captured but, maybe, should have been the front.
