We went out today (and yesterday) for a long walk thinking about an old friend of mine (see him here on the left) who is currently in hospital after being diagnosed as having had a heart attack.

While he waits to see what treatment is required he is already agreeing that he needs to change his lifestyle.

Having had the same shock to the system as him I was able to help him see, with others, that he needed medical attention which he resisted for as long as he could.

I am finding that his predicament does not only affect him. I have been skimping on daily exercise of late hence the renewed efforts to get out every day. Let's hope I can keep it up and inspire him!
