first primula

Feeling like I might be going down with something nasty and tried to confine myself to bed. But it was such a gorgeous day I couldnt stay in. I managed a bit of a pootle round the flower beds and felt better for it.

Across the garden everything is starting to come to life. The snowdrops and aconites are flowering in swathes now and the dogwood and witchhazel are smothered in their tiny flowers. Crocuses are up and about to flower and the first primula has made an appearance.
