Winter Pond

The Winter Pond in the meadow is usually full to overflowing this time of year. So far this year, it hasn't filled up the whole winter, for the first time since we made it. So no Canada geese and not even a mallard to be seen. It did have a good crop of bullrushes last year though, now dried on on display. In late Spring it turns yellow with trefoil in abundance. But I'm kinda missing the fullness for these few precious months.
