Netley Abbey

My Sunday for visiting Mum who has dementia. She seemed to be doing okay and although she panics now if she goes too far from home I chanced a trip to Netley Abbey to get a blip. Despite her describing it as ' a bit of a mess' at first with some encouragement I think she did begin to appreciate its beauty a bit.

Took a lot of shots but had to be quick as I knew Mum would want to leave. I like this one for its textures and layers and it really does evoke a sense of the place.
