Bursting with pride: Stewart Tower Dairy

I spent a very enjoyable few hours with co-blog writer Caroline meeting small producers at the Scottish Speciality Food Fair in Glasgow - a trade show.

There were so many producers with such fascinating stories to tell and of course, delicious products to taste. It was odd that every time we took a photo, the producers moved out of the shot! That's one of the reasons why I chose this one, they stayed put!

Another is to share how Neil and Linsey of Stewart Tower Dairy, Perthshire moved on from dairying into ice cream, and how this ice cream is now a great favourite with top chefs in Scotland. Linsey often makes special flavours to order for them to match particular dishes. Such passion.

I particularly enjoyed St Clement's and Lemon and Amaretto flavours - just two of the 200 they can made!
