Solitude

Nice bright sunny day and yes, the clouds of yesterday had deposited more snow on the hills. The wind was still very fierce though and every time I took my hand out of its glove to take a photo, it froze.

The dogs were having a great time scampering about on the moor, digging their noses into numerous tufts of mossy humps and enjoying the wind ruffling their coat. At least Cara was as she still has a long coat - I think Bruce was simply working on memory! It was a fairly short walk this morning as I was meeting my stepson for lunch at a very popular local restaurant which specialises in French food.

The blip today is looking towards Glen Turret where the Loch Turret reservoir lies hidden within the crease of hills. This lone tree often catches my eye depending on how the weather looks around it, but today it stood out even more with the walker and his dog beside it, stopping to admire the spectacular view.
