715/365 Treasure!

Some of you on FB, Instagram or Twitter may have seen my first shot of this book when I spotted it a while ago in a second hand book shop in Belfast. I decided that I liked it so much that I would go back to buy it. It's more of an ornament than something I might ever read, but I absolutely adore it.
It was originally given as an academic prize in Belfast Royal Academy on 30/10/1896 to Herbert Jefferson by Otto Lumenbach MA, Master of the Modern Languages School. The dedication in itself is a sight to behold.
