Big Science Head Thing

This afternoon we went up to Dalby Forest for a walk with the hound. First time we've all been, so we popped into the visitors' centre. There was a bunch of scientific/educational display-type things such as this big human head with levers that you pull to make it stick its tongue out, which is supposed to demonstrate... something? I couldn't see anything that explained it. But it looked damn good.
