THE LONG BAD FRIDAY

What a day!

I overslept, but still managed to get to work at 0805. I didn't leave the office until 1945, after supervising my new colleague through her first overseas emergency. She was very good - cool, calm and collected under pressure.

Consequently, this is an emergency blip, taken quickly on the way home.

My thoughts are with all those who are affected by the events in Nigeria.
