Day 22: Hands

Busy, busy busy day today. Sunday lunch, ironing, school work, children's party, messy hand painting! Today was definitely more frantic than most Sundays (which is no mean feat!). Not helped along by incredible tiredness after a lovely but late evening out last night.

Started to make one of the cakes needed for the castle cake extravaganza, only for the glass bowl that I was melting the chocolate in to explode everywhere (and I mean everywhere, how it didn't hit me in the face I'll never know) putting pay to my great plan for baking and freezing in advance. Plan B, try again tomorrow. Plan C, visit the supermarket next Sunday morning when it all goes horribly wrong!
