Doodling gear

So, having recently acquired a lovely new Canon (thank you Santa) I finally decided to set up a Blipfoto journal. I did so at around 10pm this evening - all fine - but then it dawned on me that, despite my usual snap-happiness, I hadn't actually taken a single photo today to upload as my first picture...

...making use of what I have in front of me right now (apart from the obvious laptop and camera) I decided to take a picture of my drawing pencils. Quite appropriate too, I thought, as I am just in the early stages of what may develop into a very artistic career. I mainly draw (sometimes paint) many things but animals and insects are among my fave subjects.

May this be the first of many blips - I'll start ambitiously by setting myself the 365-day challenge (or 366 in this case)!
