A slug is actually a gastropod ("walking stomach") mollusc. The prominent hole in the middle of the mantle is a pneumostome ("breathing hole"). The foot (along the rock) is bounded by the foot fringe, and at the head, the lower tentacles are sensory and the upper ones optical. The splotchy tail shows this to be a sort of banana slug I think. The whole creature is about 15cm long.
