A schoolboy error...

(actually not his fault at all).

Inspired by Norwich City's fantastic performance against Chelsea (watched by us on TV with beer and pizza), father and son decided to bake a cake with yellow and green cherries. Unfortunately Paula wasn't around to tell us you have to wash the syrup off of glace cherries and roll them in flour to stop them sinking. So, although it tasted pretty good, it wasn't quite the Canary tribute we had in mind. Sorry Delia.
