Warkworth

Well it's been a busy old day. Up at 8 so that we could head out and actually use our English Heritage membership (we've had it since September). Decided to take a massive bag of books to Barter Books in Alnwick and stop by at Warkworth Castle on the way back.

We eventually got out of the house at half ten and drive to Barter Books our big bag o books netted us £75 on our account and we promptly spent 40 quid of it on more books.

I wasn't sure the girls would like traipsing round a ruin but we spent two hours running around and generally being blown away by Warkworth Castle. I took loads of photos, most of them boring but I quite like this one.

Finished off the day by taking the girls to a poetry gig.
