Dorm shopping!

Laura and I spent much of today shopping for stuff for her dorm room at university. We tried several stores, including the new IKEA store which just opened a few months ago. We didnt actually buy anything there, but it was fun looking round - it brought back memories, as when we lived in France (1986-1996) we bought a lot of stuff from the local IKEA - kitchen units, wardrobes, bookshelves, beds and kitchen table and chairs - many happy hours spent putting them all together! Laura doesnt remember that, since most of it was before she was born! We ended up getting most of her dorm stuff from Bed Bath and Beyond, with the aid of two 20% off vouchers and a fifty dollar gift certificate she had received as a graduation gift - made the total much nicer!

Today was a beautiful summer day - cooler, less humidity, and when Roger came home from work, on time for once, he and I went for a bike ride on the Little Miami Trail
