Waves

The sky cleared for awhile, so the boys and I took a trip out to the jetty to see the wave action. Lots of people, lots of cameras and lots of wind. Met a gentleman who has just moved here from Tucson, AZ. He was packing a Nikon and just getting to know the area. I told him to head down the road to Shore Acres for the real waves.

I was pretty motivated in the morning, but I lost my oomph in the afternoon and have been a lazy bum the rest of the evening.

A year ago today, I shot an incredible image that got me blip of the week and a publishing in a UK newspaper. That image unintentionally taught me several lessons. I learned that the media never publish what you actually say. I learned that not all people are my friends and not everyone has to like me. I learned who my true friends are, because they like me as I am...whatever that might be.

This might be nice in large, though my husband thinks it's the more boring of my shots today. :P
