The Glamaphones

Out In The Square, or the Gay and Lesbian Fair, took place in Civic Square on Saturday.

Uncharacteristically the sun shone (as it so often doesn't for outdoor events in Wellington) and I was able to ride my new bike into town to watch my friend Rod, who sings with Wellington's Gay and Lesbian Choir aka the Glamaphones.

They were in good form but were let down slightly by a fairly crumby sound system (it must be crumby if I noticed).

Afterwards I cycled home, managed forget my factor 30 and got burnt by the sun. Perhaps it's just as well it doesn't come out so often...
