Birthday pressie

Its J's 6th birthday on wednesday and she wanted a pink camera. After having explored all the 'kiddi' options decided to buy her this little beauty, which in the sale was cheaper than the kiddi ones and has 12mega pixles, it can shoot movies, face and scene recognition and all sorts of other stuff but is still easy enough for her to point and shoot.
I remember not so very long ago discussing camera's with quite a keen gadget person who was amazed they were now making 5MP cameras, and now they can squeeze 12 into this tiny little thing! And b4 you say it, yes I know i'm getting old.
