Cyprus spuds

Next to Jersey Royal, these red mud covered spuds are my favourites. They have a lovely earthy taste - the taste you get when you pull your own home grown spuds from the soil. We grew spuds this year, but weren't too happy with the variety as they fell apart when cooked. Can't recall which sort they were though. Don't think we are growing any this year, but we are growing carrots, parsnips, beans (both runner & broad), peas and tomatoes. Probably some salad leaves too. I love picking the produce as it ripens and always make sure that the freezer is ready to receive a (hopefully) bountiful harvest.
