Have mic. Will Skype?

Maybe.

I bought this mic in great intentions last weekend. However, haven't used it beyond the default sound-tests on Skype. The truth is that Skype scares me a little bit. The concept of talking face to face is great - but the digital nature of it and the lack of actual eye contact just feels a bit...odd.

Still, I am determined that I will get over this and hopefully the new mic will at least mean not needing to sit on top of my laptop to be heard xD

A busy day today. Now pretty tired! Still, the lightbulb is beginning to flicker on so hopefully it will all start to click in to place from here :]

Also - managed to get my O2 contract reduced to £8.50 - student brownie points!
