Inchkeith

This is Inchkeith one of the small islands on the Firth of Forth. It has various old buildings mainly left over from world war 2 and a lighthouse. It was once used for an extraordinary and horrible experiment. James IV ordered that a dumb woman and 2 infants should be isolated on the island to see which language they would speak. According to writings from the time the infants grew up not speaking.
