From the city to the country!

Been up-to the Manifold Valley Trail near Ashbourne today. Managed to fit in a wonderful (bracing) walk in between a hailstorm and a downpour. We had 4 hours of blue sky and sunshine, up hill and down dale. I think Mr Brown enjoyed his 40th birthday. Helped with a good beer and hotpot in the George & Dragon. Victor is crashed out upstairs! Yesterday he viewed a right menagerie of animals at the natural history museum, but has been out walking in the fields with horned sheep & cattle. He chatted about them for ages, there was a lots of Moo's & baa's!!!
A lovely weekend, it'll be disappointing going back to work tomorrow.
