Magnolia bud

The morning sun again, this time on a magnolia bud and showing up all the details.
I found it hard to choose what to blip today.
When I left work the sun was going down in a blaze of glory and I decided to try the 30day challenge with today being "sunflare".
Then, this evening we went to see if we could see the Aurora and get pics.
It was quite faint but I think I've managed to capture it in a photo - though it was hard to be sure because of all the artificial lights. I did get some good pics of Ursa Major, though.
