I love Freecycle :D

I put a plea out on Sunday morning for a sewing machine. By Sunday evening, I had two (I had another offer today as well!)

My husband looked over both, and decided one was too unsafe to use, but this one was fine. I got hold of an instruction manual online, and got sewing this evening. I've never used a sewing machine before in my life, and I'm quite impressed with my efforts. I've duplicated one of the squares I made on Saturday, and whilst it's not quite as neat, it took a quarter of the time and is quite passable. I'm a very happy bunny.

As you can see, my machine is quite a old beast, but he works well and I'm very happy with him! :D
