Rule Breaker
Breakin' all the rules, now that I've enjoyed a day of celebration and a little visit to the spotlight. I so enjoyed saying 'hello' to so many blip friends. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
Today, we're takin' a peak into our 'real world' of too many power lines and traffic signs, fences and parking lots. At the top of this hill, each morning comes the stop. Look to the right to check traffic and...deep breath in! The golden light and the morning ground fog dancing between the hills and over the water are something to behold. Although I'd love to find a place to capture this minus the power lines, street signs and parking lots, the truth is, this is what I see. It's not perfect, but still, it takes my breath away.
The high school (on the left) chose well when they built far above the town. Why they planted it adjacent to this old cemetery, I can't say for sure, but they did. The fence around the cemetery is necessary, no doubt, even if it's a little less than lovely.
I do remember starting my days in high school and seeing the lovely light and completely understanding why students somehow ended up on the beach on days like this, instead of the class room. I was never one to partake in these escapades, which probably explains why I spent my day at work today, but, still, I do understand...
